My last update records me as 67.7 kg and today I weigh 64.8 kgs- a loss of 2.9 kgs. Not bad, after all those days of debauchery of food and drinking I thought that I would definitely add on a pound or two. I think two things helped me-

The everything-but-the-kitchen-sink-khichri

Since, I am doling out baby food recipes like a pro-mom ,here’s another winner-
1 fistful masoor/toor dal
1 fistful rice
a dash of turmeric
a dash of asafoetida
a dash of salt
peeled and chopped onion, potatoo, carrots, beans, peas, cauliflower,coriander..this might take a while…zucchini,pumpkin,cabbage,eggplant,spinach( and any vegetable you never had but want your kid to have)

Does your kid fuss about eating fruits?

Mine used to hate the pureed stuff I used to give him and feeding him the actual fruit took way too much time. The following solved all my problems:-
1 small banana/apple/peach/any other fleshy fruit  roughly mashed(If the apple is too crunchy, zap it in the microwave for a minute)

Half time!

Milestone week!
